Tigers vs Rays Preview, F5 Prediction
It's a scary proposition betting an under in this hitting environment, and that was on full display in the series opener for these two teams as we saw double-digit runs on the board before the third inning ended.
However, I like both pitchers on the mound for this game, and I appreciate their split matchups.
Rays starting pitcher Ryan Pepiot has done well against left-handed hitters this season, and he should see six or seven in the Detroit lineup.
We haven’t seen much of Tigers starting pitcher Sawyer Gipson-Long, but he has good stuff, and I think Tampa’s offense is overrated and overvalued.
