In Game 1 of the NLCS battle between the Diamondbacks and the Phillies, Zack Wheeler set the tone with six dominant innings, allowing just three hits, two earned runs and punching out eight.
Wheeler went over both his strikeouts prop and our outs-recorded prop. His counterpart was not as successful.
The Phillies never let Zac Gallen settle in. Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper homered on two of the first five pitches he threw. He did battle through five innings but he also allowed five runs.
Remarkably, he finished with exactly four strikeouts for the third consecutive start and went under his strikeouts prop again, giving us a sweep.
Tonight, Aaron Nola will get the ball for the Phillies and will be opposed by Merrill Kelly. However, I will be backing a pair of hot Phillies hitters.

Trea Turner Over 1.5 Total Bases

In a great pitching matchup, hits can be hard to come by. If you look on DraftKings, you'll notice that only two players are offered for two total bases. One of them is Trea Turner, and it is a line that he has not had much trouble hitting of late.
Turner recorded a hit in each of his final three regular season games. He has not stopped hitting now that the lights are brighter on the playoffs stage. Turner has a hit in each of his first seven postseason games, extending his streak to 11 games overall. In the postseason, Turner is hitting .500 with two home runs, three runs batted in and a 1.426 OPS.
Turner has hit this line in eight of his past 11 games, with seven multi-hit games in that span. He is 9-for-21 (.429) against Kelly in his career, with three doubles and six runs batted in while getting an extensive look at him during the year and a half he spent with the Dodgers in the NL West.
Additionally, batting in the two hole, Turner may just be the Phillies' most important hitter. He determines whether or not Bryce Harper bats with the bases empty or a runner on, which affects how the Diamondbacks decide to pitch to him.
Turner has done a great job of getting on base and setting the table for Harper. I expect that to continue tonight.

Nick Castellanos 2+ Total Bases

Unlike Turner, Castellanos does not have extensive history against Kelly. He is just 0-for-3 with two strikeouts against the veteran right-hander. However, it has not mattered lately who he is facing.
Castellanos has a hit in five of his seven games this postseason. He is hitting .370 and has hit this line in five of those games, and the story of late has been his power surge. Castellanos has hit five home runs in his last three games. He became the second player in MLB history to do so in the postseason, joining Mr. October himself, Reggie Jackson.
Castellanos is +550 on DraftKings to leave the yard once again. However, even if that streak ends, he can still hit this line in other ways. He has four multi-hit games this postseason and he also has a double.
Castellanos seems to feed off the raucous atmosphere in Philadelphia. He has homered in 19 home games this year, including his last three. I expect another big game from him tonight.
