Sutter Health Park has the highest Park Factor of any stadium in the league this season, according to Statcast, along with the highest run-scoring value. Tonight we have temperatures in the high 70s to kick off the game in Sacramento, but more importantly, we have steady 10+ MPH winds blowing out with gusts expected to exceed 20 MPH.
We have seen run totals of 10, 15, and 14 over the past three games in somewhat similar conditions in the minor league ballpark, and I just don't think the books are counting in how good the run-scoring environment is regarding the weather and ballpark. I would have this line set to at least 9.5 or 10 if I were making the lines. Both SPs in this game have been hittable this season, and both offenses have more than enough firepower to score tonight.
