MLB Home Run Picks for August 22

Spencer Torkelson (+500)
vs Royals (SP: RHP Ryan Bergert)

We don't have a huge sample size of opposing pitcher Ryan Bergert in the Majors, but he's allowed a high 1.59 HR/9 to righties thus far and grades out as a plus matchup for homers.
Spencer Torkelson is a good home-run hitter, with 26 homers this season, and his underlying numbers are good. I have the true odds here around +400, making this a great bet.

Francisco Lindor (+475)
at Braves (SP: LHP Joey Wentz)

Francisco Lindor gets a great matchup vs. Joey Wentz, who has been an above-average matchup for righty power in his career, giving up a high 1.74 HR/9. This ballpark is an upgrade for hitting, and the weather should be a plus, with high humidity and WeatherEdge giving this game a 7.6% increase to homers.
I have the true odds here around +400, making this a great bet.

Rafael Devers (+425)
at Brewers (SP: LHP Jose Quintana)

Rafael Devers is having a slower season than normal, but that's largely due to playing in San Francisco for a large portion of the year, though he's been hot this month with six homers.
He gets a matchup vs. Jose Quintana, who has reverse splits and isn't the same pitcher he used to be. Quintana has been hit hard by lefties this season, allowing a 1.98 HR/9, and has been a well-above-average matchup for lefty power in recent years. The ballpark is a big upgrade for Devers, and I have the true odds on him today nearly 100 points lower, making this a great EV bet.

Shea Langeliers (+450)
at Mariners (SP: TBD)

Shea Langeliers likely gets a matchup vs. Bryan Woo, which would be a tough matchup, but at these odds, I don't care.
Langeliers has been on an absolute tear this month with 10 homers and one in each of the past three games. He's one of the hottest hitters in baseball right now and on the off chance Woo doesn't pitch, the matchup would be even better. I have the true odds on Langeliers at around +400 today vs. Woo, making this a great bet regardless of who starts for Seattle.
