MLB Home Run Picks for August 3

Header First Logo

Jose Ramirez (+390)

vs. Twins (SP: RHP Jose Urena)

Header Trailing Logo

I’m targeting the power bats for the Guardians today.

Jose Urena is on the mound for the Twins, and he hasn’t been a good pitcher for years, allowing well above-average power to lefties during the span and 1.45 HR/9 overall.

I make the fair odds on this home run prop closer to +325.

Nick Kurtz (+350)

vs. Diamondbacks (SP: LHP Eduardo Rodriguez)

Header Trailing Logo

Nick Kurtz is in a great spot going up against Arizona starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez.

E-Rod is a reverse-splits pitcher who has been a plus matchup for lefty power in his career and has been a gas can for power since coming over to the Diamondbacks, allowing 1.9 HR/9 to southpaws since the beginning of last season.

Kurtz hasn't hit a bomb in a little over a week, but he's still one of the hottest hitters in the league over the past few months.

I make the fair odds on this home run prop under +300.

Shea Langeliers (+390)

vs. Diamondbacks (SP: LHP Eduardo Rodriguez)

Header Trailing Logo

Shea Langeliers has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the past week, with five bombs over his past eight games.

E-Rod is a slightly better matchup for lefty power, but he is still a good matchup for righty power, allowing 1.7 HR/9 this season and 1.34 HR/9 last season.

I make the fair odds on this home run prop around +325.
