MLB Home Run Picks for July 10

James Wood Home Run (+390)
at Cardinals (SP: RHP Miles Mikolas)

James Wood is one of the best home-run hitters in the league this season, and this is a great spot. Miles Mikolas has been hammered by lefty power this season, giving up a massive 1.97 HR/9 to go along with a fly-ball rate near 50% and a hard-contact rate near 40%.
Wood has 24 homers on the season, and his underlying power numbers are fantastic. I have the true odds here around +300, making this a great bet.

Shea Langeliers Home Run (+400)
vs Braves (SP: RHP Spencer Strider)

Spencer Strider has been up and down this season, but it's clear he isn't the same pitcher he was in years past. Shea Langeliers is one of the better home-run hitters in the league, and there is no way his odds should be this high in this spot.
This ballpark is one of the best in the majors for hitting, and the temperature should be around 100 degrees during game time, so the ball is going to be flying. I have the true odds here around +350, making this a great bet.

Yoan Moncada Home Run (+650)
vs Rangers (SP: RHP Patrick Corbin)

I'm going really hard on the Angels' righties, as this spot is great and the odds are far too high on all of them. The weather in Los Angeles should be good for hitting, with temperatues in the low-80s during the game. Patrick Corbin has been better at times this season, but he still owns a 1.18 HR/9 against righties this season and is due for some regression with a fly-ball rate over 40%.
Yoan Moncada hasn't done much in his first two games back from injury, but prior to being injured, he appeared to be seeing the ball great, and he owns a high 14.9% barrel rate on the season. I prefer him from the left side of the plate, but I have the true odds here more than 100 points lower, making this a great bet.

Taylor Ward Home Run (+400)
vs Rangers (SP: RHP Patrick Corbin)

Taylor Ward has slowed down after his blazing start, but he still has 20 homers through 90 games, and his fly-ball rate is still sitting around 50%. I have the true odds here around +350, making this a good bet.
