MLB Home Run Picks for May 28

Shea Langeliers (+450)

at Blue Jays (SP: RHP Jose Berrios)

I like the A’s power hitters on Thursday.

Blue Jays starting pitcher Jose Berrios has been hit hard this season, and he’s struggled mightily against right-handed power hitters, allowing 1.82 homers per nine innings pitched behind massive fly-ball numbers.

Shea Langeliers has been among the league’s better power hitters. The ballpark is a downgrade from Sacramento, but the odds make up for it — I make the fair odds on this home run prop closer to +400.

Junior Caminero (+450)

at Astros (SP: RHP Ryan Gusto)

Header Trailing Logo

Astros starting pitcher Ryan Gusto has been crushed by power hitters this season, allowing a 50% fly-ball rate alongside relatively high hard-contact numbers.

The home runs should be coming soon.

Junior Caminero has been excellent, having already hit 10 home runs, and I make the fair odds on this home run prop under +400.

James Wood (+375)

at Mariners (SP: RHP Emerson Hancock)

Header Trailing Logo

James Wood has been crushing the ball this season, with 15 home runs behind an 18.6% barrel rate.

Thursday brings an opportunity for another couple of barrels and homers, as Mariners starting pitcher Emerson Hancock has been crushed by left-handed power hitters this season, surrendering 2.65 home runs per nine innings to the side.

I make the fair odds on this home run prop under +350.
