MLB Home Run Picks for August 27

Roman Anthony (+475)
at Orioles (SP: LHP Dietrich Enns)

I'm backing the main power bats for the Red Sox today; they are all priced far too high.
As of now, it looks like Dietrich Enns is going to start the game, and then Roansy Contreras will come in for long relief.
Enns has been decent this season, but grades out as an average matchup for power, and Contreras has been a slightly above-average matchup for righty power in his career, giving up a 1.21 HR/9 and a big plus for lefty power, allowing 1.52 HR/9.
The weather is good for hitting today with winds blowing out and temps near 80, with WeatherEdge giving an 11.3% increase to home runs.
I have the true odds on Roman Anthony around +400 today, making this a great EV bet.

Juan Soto (+375)
vs Phillies (SP: RHP Taijuan Walker)

Taijuan Walker is on the mound for the Phillies today, and the price on Juan Soto isn't nearly high enough.
Walker has given up nearly two homers per nine innings since the beginning of last season. He doesn't have the same stuff he had in his younger years, and grades out as a great matchup for both lefty and righty power.
I have the true odds on Soto just under +300, which makes this an excellent bet.

Yordan Alvarez (+320)
vs Rockies (SP: RHP Chase Dollander)

Yordan Alvarez is back in the Astros lineup, and he's in a great spot today. Chase Dollander is an absolute gas can for lefty power this season, giving up a massive 1.99 HR/9.
While not pitching in Coors helps Dollander, his underlying numbers vs. lefties are still terrible, and he grades out as a fantastic matchup for lefty power.
I have the true odds on Yordan around +260, making this a great EV bet.

Riley Greene (+350)
at Athletics (SP: RHP Luis Morales)

I'm going back to the well on Riley Greene today as the spot is too good.
We don't have a huge sample size on Luis Morales in the majors, but he grades out as a great matchup for lefty power.
The ballpark is one of the best in baseball for power, and the weather is excellent for hitting tonight with temperatures in the mid-80s and wind blowing out at 8 MPH.
I have the true odds on Greene around +275 today.
