We're setting our sights on a Yankee Stadium NRFI today, as an intriguing AL East rivalry unfolds between the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees.

Taking the mound for the Yankees is southpaw Nestor Cortes Jr., who's been stellar this season, boasting a 6-1 NRFI record and an unblemished 4-0 NRFI split.

When dealing with batters on their first trip to the plate, Cortes has been nothing short of phenomenal, yielding a mere eight hits in 57 at-bats.

This translates to an impressive .140 average against the Rays' lineup.

Certain Rays batters have struggled against Cortes, including Harold Ramirez (3-for-11), Wander Franco (2-for-8), Randy Arozarena (2-for-13) and Isaac Paredes (3-for-10).

On the opposing side, Rays' ace Shane McClanahan prepares to counter. McClanahan mirrors Cortes in his excellence this season, carrying a 7-1 NRFI record.

He's effectively shut down batters during their initial encounter, surrendering just 10 hits in 59 at-bats during his first time through the order. That's led to a .169 average.

Adding to his mastery, McClanahan has held the opposition's leadoff hitters to a scanty .095 average, allowing only two hits in 21 at-bats.

With two premier pitchers sharing the mound, expect a low-scoring affair in this divisional clash.

This NRFI bet is currently priced at (-110) on FanDuel.

As always, six outs to glory…

Pick: NRFI Rays-Yanks
