On Tuesday, we head to the place pitchers hate the most at that’s Coors Field. This is where NRFIs go to die, but that won’t be the case in this latest contest.

Shane Bieber is the best NRFI pitcher in all of baseball. Facing 38 first-inning batters, Bieber has only allowed two hits and three walks this season, which are obviously remarkable numbers. His .057 average against and 0.82 ERA have given him a 10-1 NRFI record thus far.

This is a continuation of his NRFI dominance, with Bieber now 35-5 since 2020. Now, we get Bieber’s away NRFI split, which is also among the best in baseball at 21-3 since 2020.

Here is how Bieber has done in the past against some of these Rockies hitters:

  • C.J Cron: 1 for 9
  • Randal Grichuk: 0 for 6
  • Jose Iglesias: 1 for 5

Fourteen days into June, Colorado ranks 25th in MLB in first-inning batting average with a .180 average. The Rockies’ batters also hold the highest strikeout rate at 37.5 percent.

On the other side, we have Senzatela, who boasts a 7-2 NRFI record this season. That makes him 27-10 since the 2021 campaign. Those are respectable numbers, but his home NRFI splits are where his true NRFI potential sits.

Since 2018 as a home underdog, Senzatela is 17-3 to the NRFI overall. His best NRFI split is when the total is greater than or equal to 10, where he is 22-4 to the NRFI since 2020.

Here is how some Cleveland hitters have fared in the past against Senzatela:

  • Jose Ramirez: 2 for 5
  • Amed Rosario: 3 for 6
  • Myles Straw: 1 for 3
  • Josh Naylor: 0 for 3

In the last seven days hitters, Straw and Naylor are hitting for a combined 10 for 52 at the plate. Lastly, it should also be noted Rosario is stemming from 2017. He hasn’t seen Senzatela in five years. As the numbers are decent, this is a large gap to consider the batter-pitcher stat an edge for him.

With a Hall of Fame NRFI pitcher in Bieber and Senzatela at home, there is tremendous value for a plus money NRFI at a hitter’s paradise in Coors Field. Take the NRFI between the Guardians and Rockies.

As always, six outs to glory…
