On Monday, we travel to Milwaukee to take a NRFI between two National League teams: The Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers.

Brewers starting pitcher Eric Lauer has been a solid contributor behind the two team's workhorses, Woodruff and Burnes.

Lauer boasts an 11-3 NRFI record this season and a 24-11 NRFI record since 2021. He also owns a respectable career NRFI split of 11-4 when he is the home favorite. Furthermore, Lauer is 2-0 to the NRFI when at home against the Cubs.

When facing hitters for the first time through the order, Lauer has limited opponents to a .172 batting average. Here is how Cubs hitters have performed against Lauer in his previous appearances:

  • Christopher Morel: 0-for-2
  • Patrick Wisdom: 2-for-7
  • Nico Horner: 0-for-7
  • Ian Happ: 2-for-5

Yan Gomes — who is projected to bat fifth for Chicago today — is hitting just 1-for-14 during the last seven days.

The Cubs are a 57% NRFI team overall but 66% to the NRFI when on the road.

On the other side, we have the up-and-coming NRFI-phenom, Justin Steele. Since he began his career just a few seasons ago he holds a NRFI record of 21-3. Steele also has an interesting NRFI split: He boasts a NRFI record of 16-2 as an underdog.

When facing hitters the first time through the order, Steele has held opponents to a .197 average.

Here is how these Brewers bats have fared against Steele in previous outings:

  • Willy Adames: 2-for-6
  • Andrew McCutchen: 0-for-7
  • Kolten Wong: 1-for-8
  • Rowdy Tellez: 1-for-4

Rowdy Tellez of the Brewers is projected to bat fourth today. Tellez is just 4-for-25 during the last seven days for a .160 average.

The Cubs are one of the best YRFI teams at home, but they are significantly worse on the road. Moreover, Chicago is on a 7-3 NRFI run. As a result, there will be inflation in this NRFI line.

Bet on these 10-plus win NRFI pitchers to pick up another win today at plus-money. Take the NRFI between the Cubs and the Brewers.

As always, six outs to glory …
