By Prop Model

The strikeouts prop for Andrew Abbott looks like a strong wager based on the current data. The line of 4.5 compares favorably based on our MLB simulations. The prop projects to hit 67.49% of the time based on the assumptions, and that represents a 10.04% edge. You can find all prop bet evaluations in ParlayIQ.

Pick: Andrew Abbott Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-135)

Kyle Murray's Nationals vs Mets Best Bet: Back Canning vs. Nats

Griffin Canning Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-155)

Griffin Canning is coming off his best start of the season, during which he pitched six scoreless innings and struck out seven against the Dodgers.

He now gets this matchup against the Nationals. On paper, this is not a great strikeout matchup, but I do think there is some value, as this number could close at 5.5. This also projects to be a positive splits matchup. Canning has struck out 25% of lefties this season and the Nats project to roll out eight lefties.

Pick: Griffin Canning Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-155)

Nationals Moneyline (+135)

This system targets divisional underdogs in MLB regular-season games that receive low public support, but show signs of sharp action or value.

These 'dogs have moneyline support from less than 30% of bettors, yet still experience little or no negative line movement, suggesting that smart money is holding the line. Additionally, these bets occur in division games, where familiarity and tighter matchups often reduce the gap between underdogs and favorites. The bet count is also modestly above average, further hinting at targeted action as opposed to mass public overreaction.

Overall, this system has a losing record — 936-1175 (44%) — but has produced an 8% ROI because of the plus-money plays. This season, however, the system is 8-6 with a 28% ROI.

Pick: Nationals Moneyline (+135)
