We have 15 games scheduled on today's slate, with props for White Sox vs. Cardinals, Rangers vs. Diamondbacks, and Mariners vs. Athletics.

Check out my favorite MLB player prop picks today for Saturday, September 12.

MLB Player Props Today

  • Kyle Leahy Under 4.5 Strikeouts (59%, Kalshi)
  • Ketel Marte 1+ Home Runs (18%, Kalshi)
  • Randy Arozarena 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI (59%, Kalshi)

White Sox vs Cardinals Player Prop

The St. Louis Cardinals hand the ball to right-hander Kyle Leahy, who should serve as a good fade candidate. Entering this matchup, Leahy ranks in the bottom quarter of the league in xERA, xBA, average exit velocity and barrel rate.

He also struggles in the strikeout department, ranking in the bottom half of the league in chase rate, whiff rate and strikeout rate. Subsequently, Leahy has recorded four or fewer strikeouts in two of his past three starts.

In eight combined plate appearances against Leahy, this current Chicago White Sox roster has never struck out.

Pick: Kyle Leahy Under 4.5 Strikeouts (59%, Kalshi)

Rangers vs Diamondbacks Player Prop

Despite a dip in production this season, the Arizona Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte has still produced 22 home runs. His analytics suggest that a strong end to the campaign is likely.

Entering this matchup, Marte ranks in the 81st percentile in xSLG, 67th percentile in average exit velocity, 65th percentile in barrel rate and 58th percentile in hard-hit rate.

He's also had success against right-hander Kumar Rocker, who gets the ball for the Texas Rangers. In three plate appearances against Kumar, Marte owns a .500 slugging percentage and .369 xSLG.

Rocker has struggled this year, ranking in the bottom third of the league in xERA, xBA and average exit velocity.

Pick: Ketel Marte 1+ Home Runs (18%, Kalshi)

Mariners vs Athletics Player Prop

Left-hander Gage Jump takes the mound for the Athletics, and he should serve as a good fade candidate. Through 19 starts this year, Jump is 6-10 with a 5.12 ERA and 1.49 WHIP.

His underlying metrics are equally poor. Entering this matchup, Jump ranks in the bottom third of the league in xERA, xBA, average exit velocity and walk rate.

If anyone on the Seattle Mariners is to take advantage of this matchup, it is likely to be Randy Arozarena. He has been fantastic this year, posting a .272 batting average, .459 slugging percentage and .830 OPS.

In five plate appearances against Jump, Arozarena possesses a .400 batting average, .400 slugging percentage and .356 xwOBA.

Pick: Randy Arozarena 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI (59%, Kalshi)
