Meaningful football was back on Saturday with college football's Week 0 slate, but now the "long" wait until Thursday before the Week 1 holiday slate kicks off five straight days of gridiron action.

Sure, there is NFL preseason on Sunday, which is fine to bet as well, no matter what your friends, family and/or sports betting Twitter will tell you.
