Chicago White Sox Betting Preview: Fade Bryse Wilson
Bryse Wilson was booted from the White Sox rotation after getting crushed by Cincinnati on May 15, but he's being pressed into service with Jonathan Cannon getting scratched today.
Wilson has extremely weak strikeout metrics across the board. Among 152 pitchers with at least 30 innings pitched, Wilson has the third-lowest K%, the 10th-lowest SwStr%, and the lowest CSW%. He has a 19:14 K:BB across 33 frames.
Texas has struggled offensively, but it makes contact consistently. The Rangers have the 10th-lowest K% vs. RHP over the past 30 days.
The scuffling Adolis Garcia and Marcus Semien have been demoted to the bottom of the order, so Texas might be able to generate more offense today.
