There's NRFI value on Tuesday at Citi Field in a subway series matchup between the Yankees and Mets.

Jordan Montgomery has been nothing less than phenomenal this year when it came to the NRFI. Coming into today he holds a 15-4 NRFI record, with eight of those wins coming on the road. Montgomery has thrived against the top of opposing lineups as he has held first, second and third hitters in the order each below .200 averages.

Here is how key Mets hitters have fared against Montgomery in the past:

Pete Alonso: 0-for-5
Mark Canha: 0-for-5
Starling Marte: 1-for-3
Eduardo Escobar: 2-for-6

Mets leadoff hitter Brandon Nimmo is struggling coming out of the All-Star break, going 2-for-13 at the plate over the last week. In their last 23 first-inning plate appearances, the Mets have gone 3-for-22, giving them the 25th-ranked first-inning batting average at .136 over that span.

The Mets will counter with Taijuan Walker on the mound. Entering Tuesday, he is 12-4 to the NRFI, but he's a perfect 6-0 at home. He has also been a perfect 28-0 at home to the NRFI since the 2019 season, meaning he yields great value at home today.

Here is how these Yankees' bats have fared in past matchups against Walker:

Josh Donaldson: 2-for-12
DJ LeMahieu: 7-for-25
Anthony Rizzo: 0-for-10
Aaron Judge: 2-for-7
Gleyber Torres: 1-for-5

The Yankees NRFI on the road at a rate of 69% of the time, which is slightly better than their overall NRFI rate of 66%.

Bet on Taijuan Walker to continue his historic home NRFI streak to 29 in a row and Montgomery to pick up his 16th NRFI win, among the best in the majors. Take the NRFI between the Yankees and the Mets on Tuesday in what should be a competitive rivalry matchup.

As always, six outs to glory…
