Zac Gallen Pitcher Fantasy Score Over 34.5
Right-hander Zac Gallen is slated to take the mound for the ArizonaDiamondbacks against the division rival Padres, and he could be a good candidate to back in this contest.
Through 12 starts this season, Gallen is 4-2 with a 2.91 ERA and 0.98 WHIP. His metrics are just as strong as Gallen boasts a .303 xwOBA, .223 xBA and .381 xSLG.
Since May 1st, the Padres have been underwhelming against right-handers as they rank just 17th in the league in BA, 21st in SLG, 21st in OPS and 21st in wOBA.
Ketel Marte Hitter Fantasy Score Over 6.5
I am also backing a few Diamondbacks hitters in this matchup as they are slated to go against left-hander Sean Manaea. Through 12 starts this season, Manaea is 3-3 with a 3.95 ERA and 1.15 WHIP.
The first batter I am backing is Ketel Marte. Through 16 career plate appearances against Manea, Marte is 5-for-16 with two doubles.
These are not fluky numbers either, as Marte boasts a .327 xBA, .553 xSLG and .372 xwOBA through those 16 at-bats. Marte has missed a few games in a row with a nagging hamstring injury, so if he ends up missing this game as well this prop will just be graded as a push.
Christian Walker Hitter Fantasy Score Over 7
The other Arizona hitter I am backing in this contest is Christian Walker. Against left-handed pitchers this season, Walker's numbers are better by about 50%.
Through 60 plate appearances against left-handers, Walker boasts a .286 BA, .417 OBP, .633 SLG and 1.049 OPS. Despite some disappointing outings recently, Walker is due for some positive regression as he possesses a .406 xwOBA, .275 xBA, and .615 xSLG this season.
Julio Rodriguez Over 0.5 Runs + RBIs
I am backing a few Seattle hitters in this contest as they are slated to go against Oakland right-hander James Kaprielian.
Through nine starts this season, Kaprielian is 0-4 with a 6.32 ERA and 1.50 WHIP. His metrics are just as poor as he possesses a .384 xwOBA, .285 xBA and .539 xSLG.
In his lone start against the Mariners this season, Kaprielian allowed five runs on seven hits in five innings. One of those runs scored was a result of a two-run homer by Julio Rodriguez.
One of Seattle's promising young hitters, I would not be shocked if Rodriguez has another good outing against the struggling Kaprielian.
Ty France Hitter Fantasy Score Over 8
The other Seattle batter I am backing in this contest is Ty France. In that same game against Kaprielian earlier this season, France hit a two-run double and went over this total.
France has been a stud this season as he boasts a .368 xwOBA, .297 xBA and .477 xSLG. Against right-handers, France has been outstanding as he possesses a .325 BA, .396 OBP, .495 SLG, and .891 OPS.
