The calendar flips to June in a matter of days, which means we’re approximately one-third of the way through the Major League Baseball season. So, now is as good a time as any to look at the World Series odds according to FanDuel, and how they’ve changed from the eve of the 2024 season.
The Cleveland Guardians are the biggest risers. They opened with the 10th-highest odds (+7500), but now have the seventh best (+1500). The Kansas City Royals have also surpassed expectations and are now +2500 after opening at +15000.
Meanwhile, the Houston Astros are one of the biggest fallers. They went from +700 to +1500 after their dismal start to the year. The reigning World Series Champion Texas Rangers have also dropped precipitously. They opened with the fifth-best odds to win it all at +1400, but are now +4000.
