Krylov vs. Yakhyaev Pick, Prediction

Abdul Yakhyaev keeps finishing his opposition in Round 1, and he slowed in his lone extended fight; a five-round decision win in 2023. It's hard to tell whether he'll keep fading in longer fights, or whether he's strengthened that part of his skillset.

Yakhyaev is nine years younger than his opponent, Nikita Krylov, who has been knocked out in three of his past four appearances.

If Krylov survives Round 1, I'd be interested in firing a live bet on the underdog, at odds hopefully double his pre-fight price.

Still, this spot seems like another potential highlight-reel opportunity for "The Hunter," and I don't mind his odds to win by TKO/KO (projected -130, listed -120) or Round 1 KO/TKO (+175), while awaiting the live entry on Krylov.

Zerillo's Picks:

  • Abdul Yakhyaev wins by KO/TKO in Round 1 (+175, 0.1u), Ballybet; bet to +150
  • Nikita Krylov Live after Round 1
