NBA Injury News

9:40 p.m. ET Update: Donovan Mitchell has been cleared to play in Game 6 despite a sore ankle. Conley will start with Joe Ingles sliding back to a reserve role.

9 p.m. ET Update: Mike Conley has been cleared to play in Game 6 after missing the entire series with a hamstring injury. There has been no word if he'll be under a minutes limit.

Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley are both considered questionable for Friday's Game 6. After Wednesday's loss, Mitchell told reporters that his ankle pain "is just something I'm going to have to deal with." Mitchell seemed fine in early in the series, but re-aggravated the injury at the end of Game 4.

Conley has been unable to even test his hamstring out in pre-game warmups after suffering a setback before Game 3. He said Wednesday that it's possible he returns this series depending on the situation.

Kawhi Leonard will remain out for Game 6. There's still concern from the Clippers that Leonard may have suffered an ACL injury — though the official injury is a sprained knee — and as of now, he has no timetable for a return.

The Philadelphia 76ers continue to procedurally list Joel Embiid as questionable with a torn meniscus in his right knee. He'll go through pre-game warmups once again before a final decision is made on his status.

The Atlanta Hawks have listed Trae Young as probable ahead of Game 6 on Friday as he plays through a sore shoulder. This appears to just be a formality as he was also listed probable heading into Wednesday's win and played 40.3 minutes without issue.
