Perhaps the most interesting series to observe from a betting market perspective, Nuggets-Jazz lines just keep inching closer to a pick’em with each passing game.
Game 1 closed at Denver -4.5 — and actually finished inside the number in regulation, but was ultimately covered in overtime by the Nuggets’ 135-125 win. Perhaps because of the regulation result, Game 2 closed one point lower at -3.5, and the Jazz evened the series with a 124-105 outright win.

Nuggets vs. Jazz Sharp Betting Pick
As you probably already noticed, this spread is no longer listed at -2. But it hasn’t risen in alignment with the popularity of the Nuggets. Instead, it’s fallen even further, as oddsmakers are now separating the two teams by a single point.
That reverse line movement should serve as a pretty good indication of which side the sharps like, our tools help to confirm it.
For starters, the 35% of bettors on Utah have generated 48% of actual money. And while that doesn’t create a monetary liability on the Jazz, it does reveal that they’re attracting much bigger bets — the ones more likely to be made by sharps.
Additionally, four Sports Insights Bet Signals, which track sharp action based on particular moves in the betting market, have been triggered on the Jazz — two at +2, two at +1.5.
As a result, most books have followed their sharper customers down to the current line of +1.
