  • Some late sharp action has moved the top-15 matchup between Duke and Louisville.
  • Duke is coming off of a shocking loss to Clemson earlier in the week, but are expected to bounce back.
  • Should you trust the sharps in this huge ACC showdown?

Fewer than 10 college basketball games were on the board yesterday, but Saturday offers a treasure trove of action: 150 games! Heaps and heaps of games all day long, ranging from some big ones like Louisville-Duke to games with schools you've hardly ever heard of like Mercer-Samford.

So… do you want to hear about Mercer-Samford? No, I didn't think so.

Instead, I will tell you how big bets are impacting the spread for this evening's big top-25 showdown between #11 Louisville and #3 Duke.

#11 Louisville at #3 Duke

As the only game pitting two ranked teams against each other, you can be sure this game will be drawing all sorts of eyeballs. Casual bettors will be flocking like sea gulls at a dump, while those of a sharper variety will also be taking a gander.

So far, this game is split nearly 50/50 down the middle in terms of tickets. You probably know what I'm going to say next…

"Bets are split 50/50, but Louisville is getting 80% of money as the dog." Sharps love dogs, don't they?

Well, you'd be dead wrong! That's why you have to read the whole article.

Much like last night's Wisconsin-Michigan State game, big bettors are actually favoring the favorite.

Last night, Louisville was commanding 55% of bets and 70% of the cash, which moved the line from +7 to +6.5. Since then, the script has flipped.

After falling to -6.5, Duke is now up to -8 behind 61% of the money. While big bettors do typically like dogs, lower-ranked teams, less popular teams, etc., there was clearly some value to be had on Duke once the line fell.

It will be interesting to see if buyback does come in on Louisville given the inflated line. Be sure to follow the action throughout the day on the app or live odds page.
