Colorado vs Oklahoma State College Football Preview
Colorado Buffaloes Betting Preview: Losing Steam
Is it time we put a bow on the Deion Sanders experience? I wonder what happens to him after this season.
There's no doubt that Coach Prime has the allure to bring in top-notch recruits, but we saw early on how it's worked for Juju Lewis, who was benched after the Week 4 loss to Baylor.
Colorado has been a bit of a dumpster fire this season, with the Lewis benching and Sanders cutting three players midseason.
However, I don't really think Isaac Wilson has been much better at quarterback. Lewis showed us what he can do in the first two weeks. He struggled against Georgia Tech in a win and throttled Weber State.
But he threw a couple of picks against Northwestern and didn't seem that bad against Baylor — even though he was sacked three times.
I wouldn't tack all of that on Lewis, as the offensive line has been pretty bad since losing tackle Jordan Seaton to LSU. The Buffaloes have allowed Havoc on 15.8% of the snaps, which ranks 94th in the FBS.
Offensively, there's not much that the Buffs do well. The run game features JaQuail Smith and Micah Welch, but it has been rather pedestrian.
The real bright spot for this team has been wide receiver Joseph Williams, who has accounted for 50% of Colorado's receiving touchdowns.
I actually do like what I see on the defensive side of the ball from the Buffs. They rank fourth in Havoc while coming in at 20th in passing plays.
Defensive backs Boo Carter and Randon Fontenette have been total deterrents in the secondary, while linemen Toby Anene and Lamont Lester Jr. are crucial to applying pressure to the quarterback.
Oklahoma State Cowboys Betting Preview: Riding a High
What a story the Cowboys have written.
Drew Mestemaker has always been a quality quarterback, but he has taken his game to a completely new level this season. Even in the loss at Houston last week, Mestemaker still threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns.
This passing attack is one of the best in the country with the two-headed monster of Wyatt Young and Justin Bowick splitting the targets and touchdowns, combining for over 1,000 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
On the ground, I wouldn't expect to see the Cowboys put up any major rushing plays, since they're one of the least explosive rushing teams in the country. Caleb Hawkins is the clear bell cow of this team with 55% of the team's carries.
However, I wouldn't expect a ton of running from Hawkins since it's clear that the Cowboys want to sling it as much as they can.
The defense suddenly took a hit, though, as starting safety Mose Phillips III will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. Phillips was leading the team with three PBUs, which means Quinton Hammonds is going to need to take more of a leadership role in the secondary.
This defense is definitely solid, but it can be taken advantage of. Luckily for the Cowboys, I can't see the Buffs offense doing much to threaten the game.

Colorado vs Oklahoma State Pick, Betting Analysis
This will be such a fascinating matchup, but the one thing I want to focus on is the trenches. Who breaks first?
Colorado's defensive line is one of the few bright spots this season, but there's a reason why Mestemaker has taken a completely new step this season — and it's because of his offensive line.
The Cowboys will look to push the ball down the field quickly, but their offense may be predictable enough for Colorado to figure out what may be next.
Normally, I wouldn't hate going against the 13.5 spread because of how good that matchup is, but Colorado is such a disaster on offense.
So instead, I'll line this up with the under. I see OSU winning, but it may end up being a grind going against the Buffs defense.
Pick: Under 56.5
