You may be familiar with our weekly moneyline underdog article. Well, we decided a couple of years ago that we needed to show love for the other side by also sharing our two favorite college football favorites that we share weekly on the "Big Bets on Campus" podcast.

We affectionately refer to them as "overdogs," thanks to one of our beloved callers. To kick off the chalk talk this week, we're rolling with one Power 4 favorite in a ranked SEC showdown and a Group of 6 favorite in the Sun Belt.

Let's dive into our Week 10 college football picks and NCAAF predictions for Georgia State vs. Appalachian State and Kentucky vs. Tennessee on Saturday, Nov. 7.

App State is the play here.

We talked about quarterback Cameran Brown being out for Georgia State last week because one of my underdog plays was Coastal Carolina over the Panthers.

Coastal got home for us, and Brown is still out. But now, if you look at the Sun Belt availability report, Georgia State is dealing with even more issues.

Cornerback Malique Harrell is out after playing last week. Green-dot linebacker Coby Owens is questionable. This Georgia State roster is just getting thinner from an injury standpoint.

And App State already went on the road and beat Coastal, so if you want to use the transitive property here, that points us toward the Mountaineers laying one on Georgia State.

I don’t think the market has fully adjusted for Brown being out, and now with even more injuries piling up, App State looks like the side.

Pick: App State -5.5

Tennessee is playing for its season here. Kentucky can still afford another loss.

Both teams are coming out of the bye. Will Stein scares me because of what he can dial up, but I do think the bye helps Tennessee quarterback George MacIntyre a bit more.

MacIntyre doesn’t really throw the ball down the field, but he gets it out quickly. I think he has the lowest aDOT in the country, but he gets rid of it fast and doesn’t take sacks. Now, the Vols have had two weeks to get MacIntyre more comfortable in the offense.

Tennessee is kind of an old-school team. It relies on its run game and its defense, which is one of the best in the nation.

And look, I’ve said Utah is one of the most overrated teams in the country. But I’m sorry, I think Kentucky is the most overrated team in the country.

I have Nebraska favored by a couple of points on a neutral field over Kentucky. And if you think that’s crazy, go look at it from a public power ratings angle. SP+ has Tennessee ranked 11th and Kentucky 34th.

On top of that, the Vols have a huge special teams edge.

I’m going to fade the overrated team on the road and take Tennessee with its season essentially on the line.

Pick: Tennessee -6.5
