For my favorite prop of the Monday Night Football matchup between the Bengals and Jaguars, I’m keying in on the longest reception prop for the Bengals' slot receiver.

Boyd has failed to clear this line in eight of his 11 games this season. His average depth of target (aDOT) of 7.1 yards is easily outpaced by fellow receivers Ja’Marr Chase (9.4), Tee Higgins (11.3) and even Trenton Irwin (10.7).

In fact, only 25 of Boyd’s 72 targets have traveled even 10 air yards, per Pro Football Focus. And the Jaguars have graded out solid against deep throws, as they’re seventh in DVOA, per FTN Fantasy.

Of course, the kicker here is that Jake Browning will be taking the snaps for the Bengals once again, in place of the injured Joe Burrow. In the one and a half games Browning has played, Boyd has failed to register a target longer than 11 yards.

With Higgins expected back tonight after a three-game absence, Boyd should be knocked down the pecking order for deep targets once again.

I have the eight-year pro projected for a longest catch of 12 yards tonight.
