Jaguars vs. Bengals
By Brit Devine
The Jaguars look like a defense that opposing teams should want to pass the ball on — they have allowed the fourth-fewest rushing yards to RBs this season and the fifth-lowest YPC on RB runs (3.15 yards per carry).
After facing DeShaun Watson, Bo Nix, and a broken Drake Maye, the Jaguars get their first real test of the season in the Bengals, who pass the ball at the seventh-highest rate in the league and had the second-highest pass rate last season.
The Jaguars will likely be able to put up points of their own on offense, which should keep the Bengals' passing game relevant the entire game.
The Bengals might even be forced to abandon the run down the stretch if they find themselves trailing later in the game.
In his first real game where the Bengals needed offense, Joe Burrow threw for 282 yards against a tough Steelers defense, and he should be able to approach — or surpass — that rather easily against the Jaguars.
Pick: Joe Burrow Over 267.5 Passing Yards (-114)
Cowboys vs. Texans
This line is a bit low given the spot.
C.J. Stroud may have had only 27 pass attempts against the Colts last week, but he had 55 and 38 in the first two games of the season.
The Cowboys are a plus-matchup for passing and a below-average matchup for rushing.
Additionally, the Texans defense has been a massive disappointment so the Cowboys should be able to put up a decent amount of offense here.
Nico Collins is expected to return this game, which should make a difference for Stroud and be a huge boost to this passing game.
Pick: C.J. Stroud Over 32.5 Pass Attempts (-112)
Rams vs. Eagles
By Chris Prince
Outside of an amazing game-winning touchdown catch to beat the Titans, Darius Cooper has mainly been an afterthought in this Eagles offense, with just three targets on the season.
That should change today, as it's looking more likely the Eagles will be without star wideout DeVonta Smith against the Rams.
The Eagles are already missing Dallas Goedert as well, so Cooper should elevate into the rotation and compete for targets with Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon.
While he may not step into a massive role, I believe Cooper will be on the field enough to pay off on this number. I'd expect this one to move up a bit, so act quickly here.
Pick: Darius Cooper Over 13.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Cardinals vs. Giants
By Brit Devine
After splitting time with Tyler Allgeier in the first two games, Jeremiyah Love looks to be making the transition to a full-time lead back for the Cardinals.
Love played on 63% of the snaps in Week 3 after playing no more than 44% of the snaps in each of the first two games.
He had five targets last week in his larger role and hauled in all of them for 19 yards. He has caught 10 of his 11 targets this season. Love was a very good receiving back in college, averaging 9.4 yards per reception in his career at Notre Dame.
I'm expecting Love's snap share to increase modestly in this game, and with him having 10 receptions already this season (tied for 9th at the RB position) on limited snaps, he should quickly rise the ranks as one of the true dual-threat RBs in the league.
Pick: Jeremiyah Love Over 15.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Titans vs. Ravens
By Grant Neiffer
As of right now, Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears are both likely going to play this weekend, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Spears miss this game. Spears is listed as questionable with an ankle injury while Pollard carries no injury designation.
The Titans' running game hasn't been bad this season, but these guys just haven't been able to get much work given they're usually in trailing game scripts.
Pollard has been the workhorse back thus far, with 38 carries compared to 13 for Spears — and Pollard has done well the last two games, with 74 and 64 rushing yards.
The Ravens are a bit of a mess right now, and their rush defense has been bad, ranking near the bottom of the league in DVOA.
Pick: Tony Pollard Over 47.5 Rushing Yards (-111)
Jets vs. Bears
By Grant Neiffer
This isn't a bad spot for Kalif Raymond, and these odds are a bit too high.
Raymond has been a surprise this season by becoming a huge part of the Bears offense. He's played the second-most snaps on the team among WRs (ahead of Luther Burden III) and has seen 21 targets thus far, including three red-zone targets.
We don't know who is going to start at QB, but Case Keenum had a clear connection with him last week, and if he starts again, that's a big plus.
Pick: Kalif Raymond Anytime Touchdown (+340)
Packers vs. Buccaneers
By Grant Neiffer
While Skyy Moore has been getting more work ever since Jayden Reed was injured and did have 31 receiving yards last week, I'm not expecting that again.
Moore has run a route on only 31% of dropbacks this season and played 52% of snaps last week, which was likely more due to the passing game script the Packers were forced into. Even the seven targets last week weren't all that great considering that Love threw the ball 53 times.
The Bucs will be without Baker Mayfield, and with Jalon Daniels starting, they will likely try and rely heavily on the ground game and eat up the clock.
Pick: Skyy Moore Under 19.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Broncos vs. 49ers
By Brit Devine
After starting the season somewhat sharing a role with backup Kaelon Black, Christian McCaffrey has returned to bell-cow usage for the 49ers and should be leaned on heavily in the passing game for this one.
The 49ers are dealing with an almost unheard of number of injuries to their receiving core, leaving McCaffrey as the likely No. 1 or No. 2 option for the offense on most passing plays.
This feeds right into the Broncos' weakness — last season, they allowed the eighth-most targets and receptions to RBs and this season they have allowed the ninth-most targets and seventh-most receptions to them.
In Week 1, the Chiefs' RBs combined for 62 receiving yards against Denver, and last week, Kyren Williams of the Rams racked up 60 receiving yards — which was a similar situation with Puka Nacua out for the Rams.
This line should probably be in the mid-to-upper 40s.
Pick: Christian McCaffrey Over 39.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Chiefs vs. Raiders
By Grant Neiffer
I have no idea why the books are pricing Brock Bowers like this again, but I'm going to take advantage.
This matchup isn't great, but I really don't care given Bowers' price and role.
Bowers is a top-2 TE in the league and the clear top receiving target for Kirk Couins. Bowers had a massive 14 targets last week in his first game back, and with Klint Kubiak at the helm, this offense is thriving.
I have the true odds priced around +150.
Pick: Brock Bowers Anytime TD (+185)
Dolphins vs. Vikings
By Grant Neiffer
This line is drastically too low for Malik Willis, all things considered. I know the Dolphins have looked like the worst team in the league, and in all likelihood, they are, but they still have to play the game.
De'Von Achane is out for the season, which is a massive blow to this offense and the running game. With Ollie Gordon and Jaylen Wright leading the backfield now, the Dolphins are likely going to run at an even lower rate.
The Vikings are a massive pass-funnel defense, as they have forced opponents to throw at the 3rd-highest rate in the league this season.
Brian Flores also blitzes at the highest rate in the league by a wide margin, and the Dolphins will likely be forced to throw a lot of quick passes for short gains.
I have Willis projected a full two completions over this number, so I will also climb the ladder.
