We're approximately halfway through the Premier League season, but we're no closer to having a settled Premier League odds market.
In fact, you could make the argument that things are more up in the air than they were at the start of the season.
Let's dive into the current market for Premier League futures.
Premier League Odds
When we kicked off the campaign, Manchester City were -150 at BetMGM and even longer — up to -170 — at other books. Now, the Cityzens are +120 to capture another EPL title.
Arsenal — which have had a remarkable season up to this point with 16 wins, two draws and just one loss — are favored at -140 to win the Premier League, after opening the year at +4000.
That price has held relatively steady for the past few weeks, but odds for other teams have absolutely tanked.
The next-shortest team in the market is Manchester United (+3300), with Newcastle listed at +6600 and Liverpool at +25000.
Arsenal are currently five points ahead of Manchester City with a game in hand, but BetMGM is heavily invested in a City comeback.
Roughly 29% of the wagers and about 31% of the handle in the Premier League title market are on Arsenal, making the Gunners a big liability for the book. Manchester City on the other hand, have only 8% of the tickets and 19% of the handle to their name. They were also never priced anywhere close to the +4000 where Arsenal opened.
City and Arsenal still have to face off twice this year, with the first of those matches coming on February 15.

Relegation Odds
Fascinatingly, another liability in the Premier League futures market for BetMGM comes in the relegation market, where a massive 70% of the money is on Nottingham Forest to go down.
Just 14% of the tickets are on that side, so either one or a few bettors got large amounts of money down on the pick, but Forest have moved from an opening price of -125 to +270, where they currently stand.
They're currently in 13th place and four points clear of the relegation zone.
