After a month of play, the Women's World Cup final has arrived, as Spain vs. England will cap off the event on Sunday, August 20.

Neither team was the favorite heading into the World Cup, but both were projected to do well based on the odds. England entered at a +375 number, only behind the United States. Spain, meanwhile, were +700, behind the U.S., England and Germany.

Both teams have displayed a high level throughout the event, and it's hard to argue against the sides being deserving of this opportunity.

Spain rank at the top of the xG board with a xGD of 1.76 on the tournament. England have a 0.82 xGD on the World Cup, and their finishing has helped them score even when they have struggled.

In the 2019 Women's World Cup final, the United States were a -240 favorite against the Netherlands, so this match represents much more of a toss-up than the previous iteration of the tournament's showcase match.

The Spain vs. England match will be played at 6 a.m. ET on FOX this Sunday.
