Machac is an excellent competitor who proved his quality by cracking the top 20 in 2025.
While injuries have distorted his ranking and consistency over the past few months, his clay-court level this season has been very solid.
Taking a set from Jannik Sinner and dispatching Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets are feats few can replicate.
Having cruised past Zizou Bergs without dropping a set, he possesses the tools to keep this highly competitive if he remains physically sound.
Zverev is having an excellent year outside of his Rome blemish, and while he swept Benjamin Bonzi 3-0 in the first round of Roland Garros, only his third set was truly flawless.
Machac has the return game to test the German and should cover this generous line, with a decent chance of stealing a set.
Pick: Tomas Machac +7.5 Game Handicap
Fonseca vs. Prizmic Odds
| Joao Fonseca Odds | -121 |
| Dino Prizmic Odds | -104 |
| Spread | Fonseca -1.5 (-110), Prizmic +1.5 (-135) |
| Over/Under | 37.5 (-130o / -110u) |

Fonseca enters this match as the slight favorite, but I believe he faces a very complicated battle that he could realistically lose.
Fonseca is a massive talent, but at the moment, he remains quite inconsistent. He arrives in relatively modest form following recent losses to Hamad Medjedovic and Rafael Jodar, even though both of those opponents are highly talented in their own right.
In the opening round at Roland Garros, he cruised to a 3-0 victory over Luka Pavlovic.
There is also a lingering question mark regarding his performance in Grand Slam formats, as Fonseca has never progressed past the third round.
That trend may continue here, considering that if he wins on Wednesday, Djokovic likely awaits him.
Prizmic is a major talent himself and a player with a tremendous future. In Rome, he turned heads with an impressive 2-1 victory over Djokovic, and he showed no signs of trouble in his opening round in Paris, securing a dominant 3-0 win against Michael Zheng.
I believe he will come out on top on Wednesday.
Therefore, I expect both players to claim at least one set.
Pick: Both Players to Win at Least One Set
