In their head-to-head matches, the score is 7-1 in Elena Rybakina’s favor, with their most recent encounter taking place this season at the Australian Open, when Elena won 6-1, 6-3.
Elise Mertens isn’t in great form. On grass, she lost 0-2 in sets to Ruse, Bartunkova, and Osaka, and here she dropped a set to Timofeeva. However, she’s a dangerous player on grass; last year here, she nearly took a set from Sabalenka, so she shouldn’t be underestimated. Plus, she’s strong on the return.
Rybakina is one of the favorites to win the title, as she already did in 2022. She’s an excellent server. She leads the WTA’s aces rankings from recent years, but here she hasn’t been effective in that regard.
She hit only six aces in her three-set match against Boisson, and just one yesterday against McNally. She may struggle again today.
Therefore, I believe Rybakina will serve fewer than 6.5 aces.
Pick: Elena Rybakina Under 6.5 Aces
Cirstea vs Noskova Odds
| Sorana Cirstea Odds | +178 |

Sorana Cirstea is having an exceptional season, the last of her career on the professional tour. She has reached the top 20, made it to the quarterfinals at Roland Garros, and has now advanced to the third round without dropping a set.
Sorana is generally very solid on her serve and doesn’t commit many double faults. She had six in the first round against Bejlek, but that’s more of an exception. Against Wang, she had none, and yesterday against Birrell, only one.
Linda Noskova is one of the favorites to win the title here, playing excellently on grass. She has a very good serve and hits a huge number of aces, but she forces her second serve and commits double faults.
In Bad Homburg, she committed two in a very short match against Ruse. Here, she had five against Osorio.
I therefore believe Noskova will commit more double faults in this match.
Pick: Noskova To Commit More Double Faults
