Beavers 2025 Schedule & Betting Odds
Oregon State Beavers Football
The 2025 Oregon State Beavers enter the season in a familiar spot, still a little chaotic, still a little overlooked, and still trying to figure out what conference they’re calling home after the Pac-12 mess. Add in a full year under head coach Trent Bray, who stepped up after Jonathan Smith left for Michigan State, and you’ve got a program smack in the middle of transition.
Bray, the longtime defensive coordinator, is now calling the full shot. The good news? He knows the system and the locker room. The mystery? Pretty much everything else. This isn’t the most talented roster in the country, but it’s scrappy, and that can be dangerous in the right spot.
If you're looking for a team to play spoiler this season, the Beavers might just be your guys.
As for where they stack up, Oregon State currently ranks 87th in Action Network’s college football power ratings with a score of 64.7. That's just behind Stanford (64.9) and just ahead of UConn (64.6). Not exactly playoff territory, but they’re in the mix with teams that can punch above their weight.
Oregon State Beavers Point Spreads
Betting point spreads is one of the most popular ways to wager on college football. It’s a bet on the margin of victory — which makes things a whole lot more fun when your team’s a double-digit dog but still has a shot to cover.
Last season, the Beavers went 8-5 straight up but just 6-6 against the spread. That kind of inconsistency makes them a classic trap team — capable of beating the number one week and getting blown out the next.
Here’s an example of what a spread might look like:
- Oregon State +13 (-110)
- Oregon -13 (-110)
If Oregon wins 31-21, Oregon State still covers because they only lost by 10. Oregon would need to win by 14 or more to cash the ticket. And if the margin lands right on 13, that’s a push — nobody wins, nobody loses.
Oregon State Beavers Over/Unders
Over/unders (or totals) are wagers on how many points get scored in a game. Doesn’t matter who wins, just how wild (or boring) the scoreboard gets.
Let’s say the Beavers are playing Oregon again and the total is set at 62. If the final is 42-21, that’s 63 points and a win for over bettors. If it ends 31-28? That’s a cool 59 and the under cashes. Nail it at 62? Welcome to Push City.
Books will also occasionally let you bet team totals (like Oregon State to score over or under 27.5) if you want to narrow your focus.
Oregon State Beavers Moneylines
The moneyline is simple. You’re just picking who wins the game. Underdogs pay more, favorites pay less, and that’s really all there is to it.
In a rivalry game, the Beavers might be priced like this:
- Oregon State +365
- Oregon -365
If you back the Beavers at +365 and they pull off the upset, your $100 bet wins $365 profit. If you take Oregon at -365, you need to risk $365 to win $100. No points involved, just win or lose.
Moneylines are also great for parlays, especially when you're mixing a couple of favorites and looking for a value boost. But one leg fails and the whole thing tanks, so tread carefully.
Oregon State Beavers Props
Props are the go-to if you’re into fantasy and want a little more player-level action. These are bets on individual stats like passing yards, touchdowns, rushing totals, even who scores the first points.
With Oregon State in rebuild mode, you’ll likely see props on guys like running back Anthony Hankerson or wideout Trent Walker. Maybe a few on the defense if the matchup looks turnover-friendly.
Not every state allows college props, so check your book first. But when they’re available, they’re a great way to stay invested in games that might otherwise fly under your radar.
Oregon State Beavers Futures
Oregon State isn’t topping the futures board anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean there’s no value.
Futures bets are long-term wagers, like picking the Beavers to go over their season win total, win the conference (whatever conference that ends up being), or have a player win a positional award.
OSU probably isn’t making the CFP, but if you're a believer in the Bray era, you can usually find lines like:
- Over/under 5.5 wins
- Beavers to win the Pac-12
- Long-shot Heisman or award futures
These bets can be sneaky-good if you time them right, especially early in the season before the market reacts to a couple of surprise wins.
