Diamondbacks vs Reds MLB Betting Preview
Check out Zerillo’s projections for this game with his new baseball betting tool, BARTOLO, available to PRO subscribers next week.
Zerillo projects some value on the Snakes in this matchup, and would bet them on the ML up to -145.

Diamondbacks vs Reds Pick, Betting Analysis
Michael Soroka has had a resurgence in Arizona, running a career-high strikeout minus walk rate (18%) and career-low earned run indicators (3.55 xFIP, 3.98 botERA). The introduction of a cutter, along with fewer four-seam fastballs in favor of more slurves, has resulted in more chases, fewer walks, and a better batted-ball profile.

Meanwhile, Rhett Lowder has yet to figure things out at the Major League level, perhaps because he simply doesn’t have big league stuff (85 Stuff+). Regardless, his earned run indicators are sitting around five.
I love the Snakes in the batter’s box. This is a super deep lineup with elite talent at the top, and they project for a 100 wRC+ against right-handed pitching.
I also love the Snakes on defense and the basepaths — Zerillo projects them as his second-best defense and base-running team, while he rates the Reds as a bottom-five squad in that area.
Zerillo also projects the Reds as a bottom-five bullpen, giving the Snakes huge advantages in almost every area of this matchup.
Pick: Diamondbacks ML (-145 or Better)
