Looking at Sean Zerillo’s BARTOLO tool in the Action Network app, the single biggest edge on the entire board tonight is the Under 11 in Arizona vs. Colorado.
Sure, it's a sky-high total at Coors Field. We have wind blowing out to right field, but it’s fall now, and the weather is starting to cool down in Denver. Sportsbooks have juiced this total up a bit too high despite the venue, the return of Michael Soroka, and the Kyle Freeland factor.
From an anecdotal standpoint, you have to wonder how motivated this Arizona team is going to be. They’ve been grinding all September, but their playoff hopes are essentially dead and they're virtually eliminated. Books are also overreacting to how well Arizona hits lefties — they project at a solid 118 wRC+ against southpaws, but Soroka can hold down Colorado's offense on his end.
Beyond that, people haven't realized how sneaky good Arizona's bullpen has been late this season with Justin Martinez back alongside Brandon Garcia, Juan Morillo, Jonathan Loaisiga, and Kevin Ginkel.
BARTOLO gives us a massive edge here at Coors, but if you want some extra value, you can do a little correlated SGP: Under 11 + Kyle Freeland Under 5.5 Hits Allowed (-103). I think that pays out about +170 at DraftKings as well.
