How To Bet My Braves vs Mets Pick, Best Bets

The Mets have yet to announce a starting pitcher, but I think it’ll either be Sean Manaea or a bullpen day. Neither is a bad thing, given Manaea is due for plenty of positive regression (5.02 ERA, 3.99 FIP) and New York has a top-10 bullpen (projected 3.58 FIP).

It’s worth mentioning that if Manaea does start, it might hurt the Braves from a splits standpoint, who project to have three lefties in the top half of the lineup (Michael Harris, Matt Olson, Dom Smith).

As such, Zerillo projects the Mets with a slight offensive advantage (105 wRC+ vs. 100 wRC+).

Throw in home-field advantage, and the Mets are slightly undervalued in this matchup.

Pick: Mets ML (-118 or Better)
