Taj Bradley has been lucky with home-run avoidance this season, and that’s sure to regress.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Cannon continues to struggle as the league has become more familiar with him. He has a big fastball and a solid slider, but he doesn’t use either pitch enough, and he projects to be a pitcher with a FIP of around 5.00.
These are also two poor defensive teams, and the weather is projected to be hitter-friendly, so I project 9.8 runs for this game (compared to 8.9 on a weather-neutral day in Tampa).
