It's time to dive into the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Minnesota Twins odds and make a prediction in our MLB betting preview for Wednesday, April 10.

Chris Paddack hasn't pitched much over the past few seasons, but did log four solid innings the other day against the Milwaukee Brewers. That said, the Los Angeles Dodgers are, notably, a much more stacked lineup to face.

Bobby Miller will start for Los Angeles. Yes, the Chicago Cubs crushed him in his most recent outing, but prior to that, Miller tossed six scoreless against the Cardinals.

So, where does all that leave us from an MLB betting perspective? Let's look over the Dodgers vs. Twins odds and make a MLB pick for Wednesday.

Los Angeles Dodgers

Miller is a stellar starter and will bounce back from his start in Chicago. In his rookie year, he pitched a 3.40 xERA with an above-average ground-ball rate.

The right-hander has numerous pitches to choose from and can keep a solid lineup, like the Twins, off balance.

So far this season, his walk numbers have increased, but he's also notched 14 strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings. Both of those numbers should even out a bit.

The Dodgers have a loaded lineup with three future Hall of Famers. Mookie Betts, Shoehei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman are about as good as it gets.

Off of righties, the Dodgers already have a 9.3% walk rate and a 128 wRC+. Last season, the Dodgers had five bats who possessed a .330+ xwOBA off of righties. Add in Teoscar Hernández and Ohtani, and the Dodgers boast at least seven hitters who can hammer righties. As a result, Paddack may be in for a short afternoon.

In relief, Los Angeles is just okay. Evan Phillips is a good back-end arm, while Daniel Hudson and Joe Kelly are decent. If there's one area to be concerned about with the Dodgers, it is the relief staff.

Expect them to add at the deadline, but for now, avoid the steep moneyline price.

Minnesota Twins

Paddack keeps the ball on the ground, which helps against a powerful lineup, like Los Angeles. He also can limit walks and has typically struck out more than he did in his first appearance. However, that also contributes to a rising pitch count.

The Twins should be atop the American League Central again this season. Carlos Santana and Manuel Margot were nice additions at first base and outfield, but if this lineup sees further injuries, there will be some cause for concern.

Minnesota's relief staff has already been plagued with injuries. Jhoan Duran is throwing again, but several injuries will make this ‘pen unreliable for the time being.

Betting Pick & Prediction

Miller is the better of these two starters, but the relievers — on both sides — are questionable, so taking the Dodgers on the moneyline may not be smart. On the other hand, the Dodgers’ lineup has few holes when facing right-handed pitching. Take the Dodgers Team Total Over to 5.5.

Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers Over 5 Runs | Play to 5.5
