For my Friday MLB player props, I'll be looking into a mixture of picks for David Peterson, Jose Ramirez and James Wood.

Let's dive into my MLB player prop picks for the baseball games on Friday, May 30.

David Peterson hasn't had it easy over the last month. Five of his last six starts have come against the Phillies, Diamondbacks (twice), Yankees and Dodgers.

However, he hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in any of those starts, and he's worked at least six innings in the last four. That includes 7 2/3 innings against the Dodgers, allowing just five hits and two earned runs while striking out seven last Saturday.

On Friday, he goes from facing the defending champs to facing the worst team in baseball — the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies are last in runs scored, despite playing half of their games at Coors Field. They average just 2.3 runs per game on the road.

In Peterson's last two starts against the Rockies, he's allowed just one run in 11 1/3 innings.

On Friday, he's projected to pitch into the seventh inning (18.5 outs-recorded line). That'll also give him an excellent chance to pick up his fourth win.

The Mets' offense should be able to produce against Kyle Freeland, who's 0-7 with a 5.86 ERA this season.

As a result, the Mets are -340 on the moneyline on Friday, placing the value on Peterson himself.

Pick: David Peterson to Record a Win (-125)

Angels vs Guardians Player Props: Hot Play to Continue for Ramirez

Joe DiMaggio doesn't have reason to worry yet. However, Jose Ramirez's hitting streak is up to 21 games and is the longest active streak in the MLB.

In that span, he's slashing .393/.446/.655 with four home runs, 12 runs batted in and six stolen bases. As a result, he's raised his batting average from .264 to .318, which ranks ninth in the MLB.

Ramirez is 4-for-10 against Jose Soriano, so I would expect him to continue his hitting streak on Friday.

That may come with damage. Three of his four hits against Soriano have been home runs and he has five RBI against him as well. That includes two home runs off Soriano back on April 4 in an 8-6 Guardians win.

Those are still the only home runs that Soriano has allowed to a left-hander this season. However, he does have a 1.53 WHIP and .277 opposing batting average.

His last start against the Marlins was particularly stressful, as he walked three and allowed three earned on seven hits, failing to complete five innings.

That means this matchup sets up very well for Ramirez, considering how hot he's been. He's recorded two total bases in eight of his last 10 games and in 14 of 21 games during his hitting streak.

At +110, I'll be backing him again on Friday.

Pick: Jose Ramirez Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)

Nationals vs Diamondbacks Player Props: Wood Raking for Washington

James Wood Over 0.5 RBI (+220)

Last night, the Nationals got a rare national TV spot to close out their series against the Mariners. If you missed the start of the game, you didn't miss much.

However, James Wood gave the Nationals a 2-0 lead with a two-run double in the sixth inning.

Wood may not be happy to leave Seattle, considering he had two doubles, two home runs and six RBI in the series. But the Nationals' young star continues to rake wherever he plays.

The 22-year-old has 15 doubles, 15 home runs, 42 RBI and a .955 OPS, ranking in the top 10 in the MLB in all four categories.

Friday's matchup may be difficult against Merrill Kelly. However, Arizona's bullpen hasn't been a strength. Kelly also has allowed 13 RBI to left-handed hitters.

Lately, if Wood is getting on base, the Nationals are usually scoring. He has a hit in nine of his last 10 games, and he's driven in a run in eight of them. That includes five straight, with nine RBI in that span.

Additionally, Washington scored seven runs in the 10th inning after Seattle tied the game on Thursday.

If Wood can't crack Kelly early, I like his chances of extending his RBI streak against Arizona's bullpen.

Pick: James Wood Over 0.5 RBI (+220)
