The 39th edition of the MLB Home Run Derby takes place on Monday night at Truist Park in Atlanta, Ga. The big event before the Midsummer Classic will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN 2 at 8 p.m. ET.
There are eight participants — Oneil Cruz, Matt Olson, Cal Raleigh, James Wood, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Junior Caminero, Byron Buxton, Brent Rooker — for the event, and I've found two sluggers with betting value to win.

Home Run Derby Winner Preview, Picks
I love the value we are getting on Matt Olson, who will be playing in front of his hometown fans at the Atlanta Braves' representative.
Truist Park will favor lefties tonight, which will bode well for Olson. The Braves' masher has 17 home runs on the season and he ranks in the 94th percentile or better in Barrel %, hard-hit % and average exit velocity.
Similar to Olson, I love the left-handed-hitting Oneil Cruz.
In terms of exit velocity, there is no one better in the game than Cruz, who ranks first in average exit velocity at 96.3 mph.
Cruz can get hot quickly and make a run at winning tonight.
