Twins vs Tigers MLB Preview, Betting Analysis

By Derek Carty

We’re heading to Detroit for tonight’s matchup featuring Dean Kremer and Drew Anderson, and I’m locking in Trevor Larnach Over 0.5 Walks (+290 at bet365). DraftKings is hanging a +232 on this same prop, and I like it all the way down to +227.

This is a pure projection play. The model sees real mathematical value at these odds, and when you trust the long-term process, these longshot prop edges are consistently profitable over a large sample size.

Beyond the baseline projection, the context of this matchup only helps our cause. Drew Anderson and the Detroit Tigers' pitching staff have been an absolute train wreck as of late. Following that Tigers-Guardians series over the weekend was infuriating — Cleveland took three of four games via walk-off without leading for a single pitch during regulation play until the final blow. Detroit’s staff simply cannot execute under pressure and has been giving up free passes right and left.

With Detroit’s pitching in complete disarray, Larnach has a fantastic opportunity to stay patient and work a walk tonight.

Pick: Trevor Larnach Over 0.5 Walks (+227 or Better)
