Mariners vs Orioles
We don't have a huge sample size of Brandon Young in the majors, but he's been a big plus matchup for righty power (1.57 HR/9).
This ballpark is a lateral move for righty power, but the weather should be great for hitting, with temperatures in the low-80s, wind blowing out at 9 MPH, and high humidity.
J-Rod has been one of the best hitters in the league since the beginning of May, and I have the true odds here around +380, making this a great bet.
Pick: Julio Rodriguez Home Run
Phillies vs Blue Jays
At this point in his career, Max Scherzer might be the worst pitcher in the league.
He's been absolutely crushed by power this season, and even though it's only been a few games, he grades out as one of the best HR matchups in the league to both sides of the plate.
I have the true odds here around +250, making this a great bet.
Pick: Bryce Harper Home Run
Cardinals vs Mets
Soto is one of the best HR hitters in the league, and these odds are too high.
The weather in New York should be a plus for hitting, and the matchup isn't bad. Andre Pallante is a big ground-ball pitcher, but he has been worse this season and has allowed a 1.35 HR/9 to lefties.
He grades out as an average matchup for lefty power, which makes these odds too high. I have the true odds under +400, making this a great bet.
Pick: Juan Soto Home Run
Cubs vs Rockies
Michael Lorenzen has been a gas can for lefty power this season, and these odds aren't nearly high enough.
This ballpark is a massive upgrade for power, and the weather should be great for hitting, with temperatures in the high-80s and wind crossing to right field.
I have the true odds here around +250, making this a great bet.
Pick: Pete Crow-Armstrong Home Run
Astros vs Angels
Peter Lambert has been good overall this season, but he's struggled with righty power.
Lambert has given up a 1.33 HR/9 to righties this season and a 1.64 HR/9 in his career.
The weather should be a plus for hitting, with wind blowing out to left field at 10 MPH and temperatures in the mid-70s.
Trout is due for some massive positive regression, as the underlying power numbers have been the best of his career.
I have the true odds here around +300, making this a great bet.
