Angels vs Pirates Prediction, Pick
This is a good spot, and these odds are a bit too high.
Angels SP Ryan Johnson has been hammered by lefty power this season, allowing a high 1.94 HR/9. This ballpark is below average for hitting, but Oneil Cruz is far too good of a hitter to be priced this high in this matchup.
I have the true odds for the Pirates CF at around +330.
Pick: Oneil Cruz Home Run
Twins vs White Sox Prediction, Pick
This is a great spot for Munetaka Murakami, and these odds are far too high.
Twins starter Zebby Matthews is a well-above-average matchup for lefty power, as he has allowed 1.51 HR/9 this season and a massive 2.05 HR/9 in his career.
The weather should be great for hitting in Chicago, with 6 mph winds blowing out and temperatures in the high-80s.
I have the true odds for the White Sox 1B at around +240.
Pick: Munetaka Murakami Home Run
Blue Jays vs Royals Prediction, Pick
This is an incredible spot for Carter Jensen and the Royals.
Blue Jays SP Jameson Taillon may be the best matchup in the league for power at this point, as he has allowed a massive 3.00 HR/9 to lefties and a 2.57 HR/9 to righties this season.
The weather in Kansas City should be incredible for hitting, with mid-90s temperatures, good humidity, and a 6 mph wind blowing out.
I have the true odds here for the Royals catcher at around +370.
