MLB Home Run Picks for May 28

Juan Soto (+475)
vs. White Sox (SP: RHP Shane Smith)

Juan Soto hasn't been great so far in his first season with the Mets, but he's due for some decent positive regression — and these odds are too good to pass up.
We don't have a huge sample size of opposing pitcher Shane Smith in the majors, but the White Sox right-hander grades out as an above-average matchup for lefty power.
I have the true odds here around +400.

Ronald Acuna Jr. (+600)
at Phillies (SP: RHP Zack Wheeler)

I don't know if the weather is going to hold up in Philly, but if it does, these odds are too high.
Phillies ace Zack Wheeler is definitely a negative matchup for HRs, but Ronald Acuna Jr. is far too good to be priced this high.
The weather isn't bad for hitting if this game isn't postponed, and I have the true odds here around +500.

Wyatt Langford (+400)
vs. Blue Jays (SP: LHP Eric Lauer)

Eric Lauer isn't a great pitcher, and he's struggled heavily with right-handed power hitters in his career, allowing an above-average 1.55 HR/9.
Globe Life Field isn't great for power hitters, but Wyatt Langford has been fantastic this season.
The underlying hard-contact and fly-ball numbers have been near elite, and given the good matchup, these odds should be about 50 points lower.
