Blue Jays vs Rangers Player Prop
Right-hander Cal Quantrill takes the mound for the Texas Rangers and should serve as a good fade candidate. Entering this matchup, Quantrill ranks in the bottom half of the league in xBA and average exit velocity.
He also struggles in the strikeout department, ranking in the bottom half of the league in chase rate, whiff rate and strikeout rate. Subsequently, Quantrill has recorded four or fewer strikeouts in each of his past two starts.
The Toronto Blue Jays also strikeout at one of the lowest rates in baseball. This season, Toronto ranks second in strikeouts per game.

Nationals vs Cardinals Player Prop
The Washington Nationals' James Wood has been one of the best hitters in baseball this year. Entering this matchup, Wood owns a .519 slugging percentage, a .911 OPS and has mashed 30 home runs. His analytics suggest that a strong end to the campaign is likely.
This season, Wood ranks in the 99th percentile in xSLG, 100th percentile in average exit velocity, 100th percentile in barrel rate and 100th percentile in hard-hit rate.
He's also had success against right-hander Michael McGreevy, who gets the ball for the St. Louis Cardinals. In three plate appearances against McGreevy, Wood possesses a .667 slugging percentage and .868 xSLG.
McGreevy has struggled this year, ranking in the bottom quarter of the league in xERA, xBA, average exit velocity and barrel rate.

Mariners vs Rockies Player Prop
Left-hander Jose Quintana takes the mound for the Colorado Rockies, and he should serve as a good fade candidate. Through nine starts this year, Quintana is 2-3 with a 5.27 ERA and 1.51 WHIP.
His underlying metrics are equally poor. If he qualified, Quintana would rank in the bottom half of the league in xERA, xBA, strikeout rate and barrel rate.
If anyone on the Seattle Mariners is to take advantage of this matchup, it is likely to be Randy Arozarena. He has been fantastic this year, posting a .281 batting average, .480 slugging percentage and .858 OPS.
In eight plate appearances against Quintana, Arozarena possesses a .400 slugging percentage and .414 xwOBA.
