  • Friday's MLB slate features a number of games after Thursday's postponements, which means there are plenty of player props to bet.
  • Alex Hinton found three for Friday: Guardians left fielder Steven Kwan, White Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito and Rockies center fielder Yonathan Daza.

If you've been following me this week, you've already seen how volatile betting MLB props can be. On Tuesday, I had an 0-3 day. Then, I bounced back yesterday and went 3-0. I loved all six plays and would play them all again.

While I would love to sweep every day, the goal is to secure a profit.

There's a big MLB slate today with four doubleheaders on the docket after yesterday's postponements. I have narrowed it down to three plays again. Let's go for another sweep.

MLB Player Props For Friday, April 7

Steven Kwan Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-130)

Yesterday, we got a first-inning cash on this prop with Ronald Acuna Jr. Today, I'm hoping for the same with a different leadoff hitter.

Like Acuna, Steven Kwan has gotten to a hot start to begin this season. After going 0-for-4 on Opening Day, he has hit safely in six straight games. He has had two hits (+200 today) in four of those games and is hitting .323 to start the year. He's also gone 2-for-5 against Mariners starter Logan Gilbert as well.

Another two-hit game from Kwan would put him over this line alone. However, he has also scored three runs and brought in eight runs with his bat. Kwan is averaging 2.6 hits + runs+ RBIs per game this season.

It's a bit surprising Kwan has scored a run in just one game this season, although he scored three in the process.

Jose Ramirez has just three RBIs so far, but that will not be the case for long. He's coming off consecutive 100-RBI seasons and brought in 126 last season. Kwan is currently leading the team in RBIs, thanks to a five-RBI game in his second game of the season.

However, he has still knocked in a run in four of the last six games. If Kwan doesn't score a run himself, he should go over this line between hits and runs batted in.

Pick: Steven Kwan Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-130)

Lucas Giolito Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-112)

Team vs. TeamChicago White Sox vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
First Pitch4:10 PM ET

Lucas Giolito had a tough assignment against the defending world champion Houston Astros in his first start. He went five innings, gave up three runs (two earned) and struck out six.

Facing a weaker Pirates lineup, Giolito needs just six strikeouts to clear this line. I like his chances of picking up at least six for a few reasons.

Giolito has averaged over a strikeout per inning in each of the last five years. He had 177 strikeouts in 161.2 innings last season. Additionally, dating back to last season, he has recorded six strikeouts in six of his last 10 starts. He had five in three other starts in that span.

The Pirates have struck out six times or more against five of the six starting pitchers they've faced this season, and four of those opponents were right-handed. Hunter Greene and Nick Lodolo each had eight or more.

Giolito threw 97 pitches against the Astros but still struck out six. If he's a little more efficient, he should be able to go another inning here. If Giolito pitches six innings, he could reach eight strikeouts (+350) against the Pirates as well.

Pick: Lucas Giolito Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-112)

Yonathan Daza Under 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-150)

Team vs. TeamWashington Nationals at Colorado Rockies
First Pitch8:40 PM ET

Yonathan Daza got a day off yesterday, but he should be in the lineup for tonight's game, especially against a lefty. Daza will face Nationals starter MacKenzie Gore, who he's 3-for-5 against in his career. P

erhaps facing Gore is what Daza needs to jump-start his season. Through his first five games, he's hitting just .208 with a .458 OPS.

Daza has scored just one run with five hits and no RBIs this season. He's averaging 1.2 hits + runs + RBIs this season. For him to go over this line, he will need three combined. Daza has done that in just one of his first five games. While there's a bump when playing at Coors Field, yesterday's game ended 1-0.

Daza likely will not contribute to the scoring tonight if he doesn't get an extra-base hit. He has just one (a double) this season.

If Daza singles, it will take either an extra-base hit or the Rockies stringing a rally together to score him. The Rox are averaging just 3.1 runs per game this season, which is another reason I expect Daza to stay under this line.

Pick: Yonathan Daza Under 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-150)
