As we turn our attention today to Comerica Park, we're targeting the value in a No-Run First Inning (NRFI) game between two noteworthy teams in the American League: The Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers.

Opening the game on the pitcher's mound for the Tigers will be highly-skilled southpaw, Eduardo Rodriguez.

His performance this season has firmly positioned him among the top echelon of NRFI pitchers in baseball.

His impressive streak of 10-0 in NRFI, supplemented by a 4-0 home NRFI split, has certainly turned heads. His winning streak in NRFI seems to be a direct result of him effectively suppressing opposing teams' lead-off hitters to a meager .074 average this season, permitting only two hits in a pool of 27 at-bats.

His proficiency is further demonstrated in strong stats against key White Sox hitters like Tim Anderson (0-14), Yasmani Grandal (1-6), Andrew Vaughn (1-7), Luis Robert (1-4) and Yoan Moncada (5-16).

On the otherside of the NRFI pick Sunday will be White Sox ace Dylan Cease.

Cease's performance this year doesn't trail Rodriguez by much in terms of NRFI success, as he's posted an outstanding 9-2 NRFI record. He has been particularly effective when facing batters for the first time in the lineup, allowing only a .231 average in 91 batters faced.

Similar to Rodriguez, Cease's statistics against the Tigers' hitters reveal promising figures, including splits vs. Akil Baddoo (1-11), Javier Báez (3-16), Miguel Cabrera (3-15), Riley Greene (0-4) and Spencer Torkelson (0-1).

This NRFI encounter is currently priced -128 at FanDuel Sportsbook, providing us with an excellent investment opportunity.

As always, six outs to glory…
