For my Monday MLB player props, I'll be looking at three hitters in Kyle Stowers, Warming Bernabel and Luis Arraez.

Let's dive into my MLB player prop picks for the games on Monday, August 4.

Stowers has been a regular in these columns of late, and for good reason.

After entering this season with six career home runs, the 27-year-old is up to 25 in 2025 alone. While he's been driving the ball with authority, he's been hitting for average as well. Over the last month, he's hitting .347 with 10 home runs, 26 RBI and a 1.247 OPS.

Stowers has led the Marlins back to .500 after they started 24-40 this season.

Tonight, they'll welcome Jason Alexander and the Houston Astros to LoanDepot Park. Alexander has a 7.83 ERA and 1.83 WHIP this season. While those numbers are skewed by two rough outings against the Dodgers and Athletics, a constant theme for him has been his struggles against left-handed batters.

This season, left-handers are slashing .327/.415/.636 against Alexander. In just 55 at-bats, he's surrendered 10 extra-base hits, including three home runs.

Meanwhile, Stowers has 24 of his home runs against right-handers, and he has a 1.001 OPS against them.

Stowers is +350 on DraftKings for a home run tonight, but whether or not he goes deep, I expect him to be on base in this matchup. He has a hit in eight of his last 10 games, recording two total bases in seven of them while averaging 2.4 total bases per game in that span.

At +120, I'll be backing Stowers once again.

Blue Jays vs. Rockies Player Props: Youngster to Continue Hot MLB Start

Bernabel has played just eight career games in the MLB. However, yesterday was the first time in his young career that he didn't record a hit. Thus far, he's hitting .438 with three home runs, eight RBI and a 1.361 OPS.

He'll look to get back in the hit column against Eric Lauer and the Blue Jays on Monday.

Lauer has been a rock for the Blue Jays with a resurgent 2025. However, pitching at Coors Field isn't easy for many, even with the Rockies struggling this season.

Since the All-Star break, they've scored 63 runs in nine home games, including getting four earned runs off Paul Skenes in an 8-5 victory on Saturday.

Additionally, Lauer has allowed 18 extra-base hits to right-handed hitters, including seven homers.

Eight of Bernabel's 14 hits thus far have gone for extra bases. He's recorded two bases in five of his first eight games and is averaging 3.6 per outing. He's also +575 on BetMGM for a home run tonight.

Arraez didn't have a great start to the month in July. However, since the All-Star break, he's been on a 17-game hitting streak. In that span, he's hitting .400 with four doubles, a home run, six RBI and a .942 OPS.

If his history against Brandon Pfaadt is any indication, his hitting streak will extend tonight. Against Pfaadt, Arraez is 10-for-19 (.526) with two doubles and a 1.158 OPS. Pfaadt has allowed left-handers to hit .277 with 32 extra-base hits and a .829 OPS this season.

Arraez has recorded two total bases in four of his last five games that were started by Pfaadt, averaging 2.2 total bases per game.

During his hitting streak, Arraez has recorded two total bases in 9-of-16 games, averaging 2.1 total bases per game. If he gets to that average again, he'll clear this line again.

He may do so with two singles. Arraez has recorded two hits in five of his last seven games, and he's +125 to do so once again tonight.
