  • Yankees vs. Braves marks one of the biggest games on Tuesday's MLB slate.
  • We have a three-leg same-game parlay for Yankees vs. Braves, including picks for Nicky Lopez, Matt Olson and more.
  • Check out all three legs for Tuesday's Yankees vs. Braves same-game parlay below.

The New York Yankees came to Atlanta Monday night to start a series with the Braves, and it unfolded the way most Braves games have been going lately. Atlanta beat the other New York team, the Mets, by a score of 21-3 last week, and they beat the Yankees 11-3 on Monday night.

The Yankees and Braves met in the World Series in both 1996 and 1999 with the Yankees winning the championship each time, but it seems the roles are reversed for this series. I still think we can find value in a Yankees vs. Braves Same Game Parlay by building around a Braves victory tonight.

The Yankees vs. Braves Same Game Parlay (+654):

  • Nicky Lopez to Record a Hit (-170)
  • Matt Olson to Hit a Home Run (+250)
  • Braves -1.5 (-110)

Same Game Parlay – Yankees vs. Braves

Nicky Lopez to Record a Hit (-170)

Nicky Lopez isn't known for his bat, but he's been raking for the Braves ever since coming over from the Kansas City Royals in a trade-deadline deal. Lopez has seven hits in 10 at-bats for the Braves in his four games with Atlanta.

Tonight's matchup couldn't get any better for Lopez as he's going to face Yankees right-handed starter Luis Severino. Severino was once a really good pitcher, but he has an 8.06 ERA and 1.88 WHIP this season. I like Lopez to stay hot and record at least one hit against Severino tonight.

Matt Olson to Hit a Home Run (+250)

Matt Olson has hit 43 home runs this season, and 34 of them have come against right-handed pitching, boosting his ISO to .363 against righties. 23 of his 43 home runs have also come at home.

Severino, who is struggling in his worst season yet, has allowed a .328 ISO to left-handed hitters this season. I like Olson to take Severino deep tonight as his rough season continues and Olson continues to push toward 60 home runs.

Braves -1.5 (-110)

Braves starter Bryce Elder has allowed at least five earned runs in four of his last six starts, but I still like the Braves to cover the spread here because of their offense.

This matchup for the Braves offense at home against Severino is pretty juicy. Atlanta has been an offense that takes advantage of these kinds of matchups all season long, especially at home. I like Atlanta to go off against a vulnerable Severino and provide enough run support to cover the spread at home here in the last leg of the Yankees-Braves Same Game Parlay.
