Giants vs Rockies Pick, Betting Analysis
I also project the Rockies as favorites in this game, right around -107 on the ML.
While Adrian Houser is likely a better pitcher than Ryan Feltner, it has to be pretty close. He’s running earned run indicators in the fives (5.53 xERA, 5.06 FIP). He also has a home run problem (1.37 HR/9, 14% HR/FB rate), which could be a huge issue at Coors Field.
Meanwhile, the Rockies are better in the batter’s box, better on defense, and better on the basepaths.
If we can survive Colorado’s disgusting bullpen, the Rox should come away with a win.
Regardless, the wrong team is favored in this matchup.
Pick: Rockies ML (-104 or Better)
