Mariners vs Cubs Prediction, Betting Analysis
I am very confident that this will not close at a 12-run total.
We had temperatures close to 80 degrees with two solid pitchers in George Kirby and Matthew Boyd on Friday, and the game finished with 13 total runs.
We have two young pitchers on Saturday, Mariners' Emerson Hancock and Cubs' Cade Horton, and I can guarantee that they will be frustrated by these conditions.
Wrigley Field is the most wind-sensitive park in the league. With winds projected to blow straight out at 25 MPH, a 92-degree game-time temperature, and a 100-degree heat index, we are experiencing elite hitting conditions.
I figured we would see 13.5 or 14 as a total, and I wouldn't be surprised if it moves up to that number.
I am not an "over" bettor, especially with high totals, but this is a lousy line that surely won't last.
Pick: Over 12.5 (-115, BetMGM)
