The Atlanta Braves looked like they might get a much needed win last night with 5-4 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, but closer Kenley Jansen didn't quite have his control and the St. Louis Cardinals came back to walk it off.

Atlanta trails the New YorkMets by three games for the division lead in the National League East entering play Sunday. After snatching the victory last night, the Cardinals have a six game lead in their division.

Same-Game Parlay — Braves vs. Cardinals

Cardinals Moneyline (-140)

The Cardinals didn't trade for Juan Soto at the trade deadline, but this team is still very good. St. Louis is especially good at home where they're 41-22 (.651 WP) this season.

Atlanta is also a good team with power in their lineup, but it's difficult to have confidence in them on the road with Jake Odorizzi and his 5.48 xFIP on the mound. The Cardinals have just been that good at home.

Lars Nootbaar 2+ Total Bases (+105)

Nootbaar has a .247 ISO against right-handed pitching in 182 plate appearances this season. Odorizzi has allowed a .150 ISO to left-handed hitters this season.

Nootbaar also bats leadoff for the Cardinals these days so he should have at least three opportunities against Odorizzi. Nootbaar has a .507 SLG against right-handed pitching compared to .262 against left-handed pitching.

Adam Wainwright 6+ Strikeouts (+130)

Wainwright has a 19% K% on the season, which is solid, but all nine hitters in the Braves projected lineup have at least a 20% K% against right-handed pitching this season.

Wainwright struck out seven and eight batters in his previous two home starts, despite only striking out three batters in his last start which was on the road. Wainwright has a 22% K% at home this year compared to 17% on the road.

The Parlay: Cardinals Moneyline + Lars Nootbaar 2+ total bases + Adam Wainwright 6+ Strikeouts (+525)
